1. Who we are
Zuba is an educational platform built for Zambian students, operated by Tribe Ltd. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users, especially minors.
2. What we collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Email address (for account creation and login)
- Display name and grade level (optional, set by you)
- Quiz answers and progress data (to track your learning)
- Device and browser information (standard web analytics)
3. How we use your data
- To personalise your learning experience and track progress
- To send account-related emails (password reset, etc.)
- To improve the platform and fix bugs
- We never sell your data to third parties
4. Data storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (EU region). We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
5. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Export your learning data
- Delete your account in the app (Account → Delete account)

6. Account deletion
Signed-in users can permanently delete their account from Account settings in the app or at zuba.school/account. Deletion removes your profile, quiz history, progress, badges, and sponsor links. Active subscriptions should be cancelled before deletion. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
7. Children
Zuba is designed for students of all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has registered without consent, please contact us immediately.
